On Friday 30th October, we all converged on the Radisson Edwardian, Bloomsbury for the IOH Chairman's ball during which we were invited to present our inaugural hotcatUK Award for Innovation. After the champagne reception we all enjoyed a lavish three course dinner. The service was great, and each table had a centrepiece of an origami swan, courtesy of napkin folding expert Luigi Spotorno.
The Institute of Hospitality presented five Aspiring Managers awards, sponsored by LearnPurple, which recognise up and coming managers in the industry. Jose Ruiz then introduced the hotcatUK award which was presented by Mike Day, CEO of our award sponsors IndiCater.
The winner of the award was Malmaison, for their Housekeeper Olympics programme, and the hotcatUK staff would like to extend our congratulations to them.
Photos from the evening are now on the main page. We all had a fantastic time, and would like to thank the Institute of Hospitality for giving us the opportunity to present this award.
