Who says that we don't know how to admit defeat? In fact, to say that we lost, would be an understatement, the Berkeley were beaten to the floor and then kicked some. The Lancaster 8, The Berkeley 0

Oh it was hard to watch! The Berkeley did its best but it was clear, from the start, that the odds were against them. Further to 4 last minute drop-outs, they arrived on the pitch with a 7 man squad against an 8 strong (plus many more in reserve) filling the flanks of the Lancaster.
We thought that the match would be more even if the Lancaster played with 7 as well, but they would have none of it and insisted in playing with an 8 men squad.
The Berkeley did not stand a chance with every one of their players' tactics being counterplayed by up to two opponents.
The Lancaster played a very aggressive first half, where the match was largely played on the Berkeley's patch, managing to score 5 goals.
The Berkeley arrived to the second half tired, cold and demotivated at seeing how the Lancaster kept bringing fresh players to the field where they had none to reinforce their already small team.

All in all, a dissapointing game, well played by the Lancaster, even though the odds were on their side even before the game started.
